Experimental Improvised Performance

Today I started my new option module 'Experimental Improvised Performance' - the module is open to dance, theatre & music so I'm really looking forward to collaborating with students who use a different medium.

Exploration using the words:

Light.                                                 Sound.

Us dancers explored the space underneath the piano as the music students played with sounds made by the piano. The echoing sounds influenced my movement as well as the restricted area. The drama students explored the space whilst saying words releated to the ones we were given - this is also really influenced my movement as it added another layer to the improvisation.
