Felt really stiff & tired & un-motivated today..
Warm up - working with the surfaces of the body on the floor.
Layers of the skin - gathering sand.
Working with a twist in the spine. Putting pressure through the hands.
Playing with levels & suspension & falling..
Explore in groups - more playful.
Playing with the spaces / weaving. Moving in & out of contact.
I felt like being in a group restricted my movements & I was less adventurous in my exploring.
Worked with Claire transferring weight - lower the pelvis & use momentum!

Memory Imprints:
Leaving imprints on my partners body - using this to influences my movement. Charlie stands still. Imprinting her foot into the ground - using the material of her cardigan as a stimulus.
Leaning on her - using her leg as a support - sliding down the length of her leg - resting my hand on her shoulder. Repeating movements / sequences until it feels settled in my body.
Trying to perfrom the sequence without Charlie in the space - felt lost & strange. Performing both of our phrases in the space. Then tryed performing it as a whole group - at first it was all quite clumsy. Then when doing it again, we found lovely coincidental moments & opportunities.

Getting into phrase groups.
Split the phrase into 6 sections - they don't have to be the same length.
Create a code: 2153 & perform the phrase in this order.
Figure out transitions if necessary.
Re-arrange within the group to ensure that we are still moving as a group.
Recognising when/if any unison occurs & being mindful of it.
~
Applying these new forms to the river section.
Realising that the river needs to move for the trios/quartettes to happen.
Orbit Score:
Walking in the space.
Dropping the pelvis to walk with a lower centre of gravity.
Move into a run.
Moving around a centre point - gravitational pull - people still in the centre.
If one changes direction - the whole group does.
Following through, no going back.
